We are honored to be inducted in the the International Mining Technology Hall of Fame. Our "Founding Father" Francisco Castaño, Sr., our Freedome® technology, and our CEO Francisco Castano, Jr. have all played a part in advancing storage and materials handling solutions for the mining industry.
We appreciate repeat business! In 2002, Geometrica designed a 73m bulk storage dome for Les Ciments du Sahel in Senegal. This installation led to a follow up project in 2010, with Geometrica designing and installing a circular structure covering an limestone stockpile spanning 94m. Both domes have improved Ciments du Sahel's runoff and air quality measures and add a vivid touch of blue to the landscape.
Manufacturers want to cover their stockpiles, if only covering existing stockpiles was easy. Most were not designed to be covered and the mere thought of doing it sounds impossible without downtime and extremely high costs. The solution? Geometrica specializes in revolutionary bulk storage and materials handling solutions around the globe.
When it comes to the Andes of South America, it's not hard to imagine the challenges of raw material storage. High winds kick up dust, punishing snow loads blanket the region, and torturous slopes render conventional construction methods useless. What's a stockpile operator to do?
Geometrica is pleased to announce that it has received certification of its Factory Production Control system for CE Marking of its construction products.
Geometrica's CEO, Francisco Castano, inspires entrepreneurs in Monterrey to take their companies to the global market. Read ahead to learn more about this Bravo MX presentation.
Geometrica's domes and vaults are highly favored for a variety of uses, from raw material storage to worship venues. These long span structures appear from Tunisia in the north to South Africa in the, well, south, of this, the second largest continent in the world.
